After the glass tape had been removed it was apparent that a complete stripdown
and repaint of the hull was inevitable. The paint here shows the effect of the
first couple of hours work with the orbital sander but with much more to do. Over
the large flat sections of the hull the adherence of the innner white paint coats
is very good and it was decided to leave this intact where possible. It was a
welcome opportunity to dispense with the green colour which I have never regarded
as 'fast'.
