Cove Sailing Club is a long established village based club on the Rosneath peninsula. Home to the second largest Clyde population of Loch Long OD classic dayboats it offers a variety of events to all classes of yacht, the highlight of which is the Edinburgh Crystal Regatta in June. Owing to the hospitality and atmosphere which the club is able to generate this event remains popular in the currently declining Clyde yacht racing scene. There is racing for the Loch Long class on Tuesday and Friday evenings and handicap racing on Fridays.
Loch Long Week is hosted by Cove and Royal Gourock YC on alternate years - 2002 is at RGYC between 22nd and 27 July. CSC will be defending the trophy following last years superbly attended event, which was hosted by Aldeburgh Yacht Club.

Cove has a thriving cadet membership and owns three Topaz dinghies for use as training boats the latest of which was bought with funding from the Bells Nautical Trust.
The clubhouse is functional yet homely and overlooks the rocky shore where there are moorings for visitors as well as owners.
