Toward Sailing Club is situated on the west side of the Cowal peninsula just round the corner from the Toward lighthouse and opposite Rothesay bay. Bringing together people who enjoy boating, it offers racing and RYA registered training in the summer and social events throughout the year.
The clubhouse is open throughout the summer months with training courses taking place for learners (both young and old) on Monday and Wednesday evenings and racing organised for each Thursday evening from April to August inclusive. Racing also takes place on Sunday afternoons from April to October inclusive and other events also take place at week ends. Refreshments are available on racing and training days and all members are most welcome to drop by at these times. The clubhouse, changing rooms, dinghy park and launching facilities are available for members individual use through the summer. In addition to boat storage and safety boats the club owns sailing dinghies which are available for members’ use.
