The recently refurbished Loch Long 117 Tarka (ex
Dileas) sailed by John McMurtrie the younger with his sister
Catriona and seen just after the Sunday finish at Kip Regatta
awaiting a tow back to Cove.
Pleased to see Miss Tuttles taking Class 3 at
Scottish Series. So what happened to those First 31.7s in Class
4? Not much of a result from the 27.7s either.

Clydesailing
is a site aimed specifically at those of us who
like to sail and race in ordinary type yachts on the Clyde and West of
Scotland. The perspective is that of the enthusiastic club sailor who
does not have the resources of the semi professional. We aim to provide
information and unashamedly biased comment on local yachting events. If
you are interested in yacht racing and sailing in Scotland please take
a look around.

Our Clydesailing
discussion
board remains an excellent place to share sailing opinions, lies and
fantasies. We are also extremely keen to include any news, reports or
pictures which you think might be of interest and if you have any retrospective
stories or pictures of your 2003 season please send them to us and they'll
definitely be used.

Chas, the author of this site, is the owner of
Troy,an old 30 foot yacht which along with his family and mates
he races and cruises from
the Clyde. I'd be interested in any comments on the site and will respond
to any questions. If you are new to sailing on the Clyde and have any
questions or interest please email me. I'll either try to answer them
myself or point you to someone who can. You can use
the reply page to email me.
