The other Mistral 31 that I know about is one called 'Moonshine'. She was up for sale in Plymouth maybe 1998 or so. The picture below is from a small photo on the broker's spec sheet.

She differs from Troy in that she has a deck stepped mast. She also has no runners. The engine at time of sale was a Petter Mini twin located under the companionway unlike Troy's location directly on top of the keel. The broker was of the opinion that the interior fit-out was a professional job. She is fitted with a conventional forecabin with a large full width heads/hanging locker compartment between the main bulkhead and the forepeak The pull-out chart table is aft to port and the galley aft to starboard. It is interesting to see how different a layout can be within the same hull. If anyone knows the whereabout of this yacht now I'd be extremely interested to hear about it.

With 'Rollercoaster' competing in the Half Ton Worlds in the summer of 1979 and Troy coming out of the mould later that year, Fairey Allday could not have lasted for very long since Trapper were advertising the 950 by early 1980.

On to the Trapper 950
